For the past 20 years, we have provided traditional women's Plus size clothing under a sister label to local stores. During this time, we noticed a void of trendy, fashionable clothes that actually fit. So we decided to turn it up a few notches with the designs while incorporating our intimate knowledge of the curvy fit. As a result, Missphit was born. Entrenched in the heart of L.A.'s rising world fashion scene, Missphit designs solely for the fashion forward girl who is selective with her fit. Missphit was created by husband-and-wife team Yul and Christina Kwon as a result of years of listening to what curvy women want. Yul handles the manufacturing and sales side of the business while Christina creates the designs. Christina studied fashion design at Esmod in Paris and has previously worked for designers Christian Dior and John Galliano in addition to numerous trendy local labels. Her styles are a fun confluence of European chic and California cool. Missphit's styles come from our talented team of designers who constantly search the world for ideas and inspiration. The "phit" comes from 20 years of design and manufacturing experience for the Plus size woman. Missphit emphasizes quality with a designer's eye for details.
